Free e-book download
- Processed data
- First name, last name, e-mail address, optionally phone number and company, submission date and time, and technical data needed for anti-spam protection.
- Purpose
- Sending a double opt-in e-mail, delivering the e-book download link after confirmation, and sending related expert communication about Java, Azul, licensing, and migration.
- Legal basis
- Consent to processing and receiving related communication. For basic form security, also our legitimate interest in protecting the website from misuse.
- Retention period
- For the duration of the consent, until withdrawal or unsubscribing from e-mail communication. Data needed to prove consent may be kept for the period necessary to protect legal claims.
Follow-up e-mail communication after e-book download
- Processed data
- E-mail address, contact identification, consent information, double opt-in status, and possibly reactions to e-mails and unsubscribe information.
- Purpose
- Sending approximately five follow-up e-mails over several weeks. Each e-mail contains an unsubscribe link.
- Legal basis
- Consent. Unsubscribing ends the processing for this communication.
- Retention period
- Until unsubscribing or withdrawing consent. We may keep information about the unsubscribe request to make sure we do not send further marketing communication.
Contact form
- Processed data
- First name, last name, company, e-mail address, phone number, message, IP address, user-agent, and technical data from the anti-spam check.
- Purpose
- Evaluating the inquiry and contacting the person regarding potential cooperation, consultation, Java Assessment, or Azul Java solutions.
- Legal basis
- Steps prior to entering into a contract or contract-related communication. For security and anti-spam data, our legitimate interest in protecting the website.
- Retention period
- For the time needed to handle the inquiry and related business communication. If a business relationship is established, for the duration of cooperation and usually 5 years afterwards for legitimate interests and protection of legal claims, or longer if required by law.
Regular website operation
- Processed data
- IP address, browser, device and operating system information, visit time, technical logs, and cookies according to settings.
- Purpose
- Displaying the website, securing it, diagnosing errors, preventing misuse, and measuring traffic where you have given consent.
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest in website functionality and security. Consent for analytics cookies.

E-book and follow-up e-mails
After you fill in the e-book form, we send you a double opt-in e-mail. Only after confirmation will you receive an e-mail with the download link.
After that, you may receive approximately five topic-related follow-up e-mails over several weeks. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every e-mail.

Who may access the data
We process personal data primarily within Solutia s.r.o. Some data may be accessed by trusted suppliers who provide website operation, hosting, e-mail communication, analytics, anti-spam protection, or IT administration for us.
For the e-book and follow-up e-mail communication, we use Brevo. Google may process technical data in connection with Google Analytics, Google Maps, and Google Fonts depending on the nature of the specific service.
We may also disclose data to public authorities if required by law or if necessary to protect our legal claims.
Transfers outside the EU
